Beetroot chutney

Beetroot and Orange chutney

This time of year I love some chutney served as a side for dinners or in toasties! This beetroot and orange chutney has an amazing aroma while cooking and is very moreish!


  • 5 raw Beetroots, peeled and diced finely
  • 2 Red onions, peeled and dined finely
  • 3 Red apples, peeled and diced finely
  • 1 tsp Ground Corionder
  • 1 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 500ml Red wine vinegar
  • 3 Oranges juiced
  • 250g Sugar


  1. Combine all the ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
  2. Spoon into sterlised jars and enjoy!
