These overnight oats with blueberries and toasted almonds are so creamy and the almonds provide a bit of texture. There is so many different flavour options from the addition of yogurt to almond milk to numerous types of different fruits, the list is endless. This is one dish which is simple to make with very few ingredients. The fridge adds a nice chill to the mixture which definitely wakes me up in the mornings!
- 100g oats
- 300ml milk
- 3 tbsp honey
- Handful of blueberries
- Handful of flaked amonds
Preparation, the night before:
- Toast almonds over a dry pan until brown.
- Cover and leave aside.
- Mix the oats, honey and milk, cover and leave overnight in the fridge.
Serve these overnight oats with a few blueberries on top with the toasted flaked almonds. A yummy breakfast on a hot summer’s morning.
