I love this homemade pesto. It is such a simple sauce to make but it will transform your dishes. The store bought pesto used to always repeat on me consistently for several hours after eating it but this homemade version has solved that problem.
- Bunch of fresh basil
- 150g Olive oil
- 20g Grated Parmesan
- 30g pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove
Preparation the night before
- In blender, pulse basil, pine nuts, garlic clove and half of the oil.
- Add rest of oil slowly while blending.
- Blend until all combined and smooth.
- Transfer to bowl and mix in Parmesan.
Tah Dahhh thats it! I use this sauce with pasta, pizza and spread for sandwiches. Hope you enjoy!
