This smoothie bowl combines the sweetness of the strawberries with the zestiness of the lime. What I love about smoothie bowls is that they are a bit thicker than a smoothie and can be topped off with a variety of ingredients. Oats can be added to this recipe as well, but they would have to be steeped beforehand to ensure a smooth consistency when blended.
- 150g Strawberries, rinsed
- 1 Lime, lime juice
- 100g Milk
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 Banana
- 1 tsp Chia Seeds
- Blitz 120g of the strawberries, 1/2 the Banana, lime juice, milk and honey until smooth.
- Pour into a bowl and arrange the remaining sliced banana, strawberries and chia seeds on top.
