Hot stewed fruit with natural yoghurt

This hot stewed fruit with natural yoghurt is really simple and a perfect breakfast on a cold morning. Especially with Valentine’s day around the corner it is a nice surprise to wake up to. Various different ingredients can be added, if you prefer the yoghurt sweeter just add honey, and also cinnamon is a nice addition to the fruit but I just felt like keeping the ingredients simple in this dish.


  • 400g Natural Yoghurt
  • Handful of mixed seeds
  • 200g Cherries, stalks and stones removed
  • 200g Strawberries, sliced
  • 50g Pomegranate seeds


  1. Combine the strawberries and cherries and simmer for 10 mins.
  2. Serve on top of the natural yoghurt with a sprinkling of pomegranate and seeds.
