Stuffed Mushrooms

I am not the biggest fan of whole mushrooms as the texture never appeals to me but I ate these! The flavour was amazing with the soft gooey centre and crispy breadcrumbs. They are perfect as a party treat or even as a starter.


  • 250g Mushrooms
  • 100g Blue cheese
  • 50g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg, beaten


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Peel the mushrooms and remove the stalk.
  3. Place the cheese in the centre of each mushooms and brush with egg.
  4. Place some breadcrumbs on top and pop into the hot oven for approx 20 mins until brown.
