I am not the biggest fan of whole mushrooms as the texture never appeals to me but I ate these! The flavour was amazing with the soft gooey centre and crispy breadcrumbs. They are perfect as a party treat or even as a starter.
- 250g Mushrooms
- 100g Blue cheese
- 50g Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg, beaten
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Peel the mushrooms and remove the stalk.
- Place the cheese in the centre of each mushooms and brush with egg.
- Place some breadcrumbs on top and pop into the hot oven for approx 20 mins until brown.
