Cranberry slaw

I first discovered this in a sandwich deli and I have been trying to replicate it since. Its amazing and sweet and with the red cabbage shredded, the vinegar makes it goes lovely and soft. I love this served on the side with lasange or baked potatoes.


  • 5 tbsp Cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1/2 red cabbage shredded
  • 1 carrot shredded
  • 100g Dried cranberries
  • 1 apple, shredded
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 3 tbsp Cranberry sauce
  • 4 tbsp yoghurt


  1. Place the cabbage in a clean tea towel, gather the sides and squeeze out any excess water.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together and place in fridge for a min 30 mins.
